Bad news ... my first weigh in for May was up 0.4 pounds (what I lost the previous week).  OUCH!!  I lose, then I get slack and don't journal everything.

My second weigh in for May was a 1.8 loss!!  YIPPEE, started out good after it, but as the long weekend arrived, I got lax, especially at the cottage, I really didn't journal.  I tried to journal today for what I had Saturday and Sunday, but I'm sure I'm missing stuff.  

I went for a nice 50minute bike ride for "ME" time for my birthday this afternoon.  I've had a low point day so far to save up for dinner out tonight.  Who knows what the tales from the scale will be tomorrow night.  I'm not going to fret about it ... if I'm down it's a bonus, if not ... I know why!

Well post birthday weigh in ... up 1.4 ... OUCH!!  Plus again the following week.  OUCH!!  Time to get back on track. 

Wednesday I called a local gym and went by Wednesday night and joined up!!  On my drive to work Thursday I remembered a former co-worker joined a local gym, I called her and that's where she's a member too!!  So we went Thursday night, I had a fitness assessment Saturday morning, then I worked out after that, and again today (Sunday).  I have an orientation session tomorrow night.  One thing I like about this facility is child care is included with my membership!!  No excuses!

Well since joining the gym on Wednesday last week, and working out Thursday night, Saturday, Sunday and Monday night, it all paid off!!!  I lost 1.4 this week!!!  

I'm logging my exercise as part of my new journaling (see Exercise Log link above).

I hope to lose anything but 1.4 next week, I want to avoid that 66.6 weight loss again next week.

Well I approached the meeting hoping to lose anything but 1.6, and ended up gaining 1.6.  All in the name of exercise and not journalling my exercise points correctly.  Time to make sure I don't bank too much this week and pay very detailed attention to what I earn as far as exercise and spend as far as food.

But this new habit of going to the gym is a BLAST!!  I don't know why I didn't do it sooner.  I guess the weight would be a good reason.  Having a friend to go with some nights is also great!

Well I weighed in after eating more and lost 2 pounds!! YIPPEE!!  I hope I'm back on track now.  Eating more, exercising minimum 3 x per week, and feeling good!!
