July 2003July and August have been busy, I've been working at keeping regular exercise at the gym, but have been yo-yoing still with my weight loss. I started out July with a 0.8 gain, then a 0.4 loss, then a 2.0 loss, then a 1.2 loss, then up again 1.2 for the end of July. August 2003I actually missed my first meeting since starting WW in February 2002 the first week of August. I paid for missing that meeting big time at my next weigh in with a 3.2 pound gain. Did OK the following week with a 2.8 loss, but the last week of August was a 2.4 gain. Up and down, up and down, I hope to kick this funk soon. The new FLEXplan was introduced at my meeting the 19th of August and I thought it would be a good change. But my first week on it started out with good intentions, but I just didn't journal all those bites licks and tastes that were nibbled on during the drive to the cottage, etc., so I paid for it the last weigh in of August. August ends with the last day of the month being my second Women's Triathlon at Milton, Ontario. I'm excited and ready for this and have spent some time this week going out twice to practice. I feel better about the swim after my practice run tonight. The bike course has changed, so I took my husband with me on the bike and we both did the bike, then came back, had a few minutes of a rest and then did the walk. He has a new appreciation for what I don the triathlon. I will write my report after the tri. I'm excited about this, my parents will be there this time, and hopefully my husband and kids will be at the finish line this year.
